Farm View is a prestigious collection of just 29, three, four and five-bedroom detached houses in Mawsley Village, near Kettering.

The village is the result of imaginative co-operation by developers and Kettering Borough Council to create a selfcontained and family-friendly community in a rural setting close to good commuter routes. Pleasantly landscaped, with open spaces including sports pitches and play areas, as well as sensitive provision for wildlife, the village is also identified by the use of local stone.

Most of the village's events, including BBQs, quiz nights, fun days and a farmers' market are held here. As the village community grows, special interest groups are forming, and already include a running club and walking group.

Mawsley Medical, a practice that provides doctors, dentists and a dispensary under one roof, takes health care delivery into the future. But then everything here, including Mawsley Village Community Primary School, is new and modern. For anything that cannot be obtained in the village, the small market town of Kettering is not far away. Associated with the abolition of slavery (as depicted on its coat of arms) the town also shares Northampton's history of shoe making. It has leading retailers including Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury's, an open-air market, lovely park – Manor House Gardens – and a general hospital.

Kettering also has an Odeon multiplex cinema, a conference centre with a varied programme of live performances and exhibitions, 25-metre public swimming pool and several health and fitness clubs. The members-only clubs include Kettering Park Hotel and Spa on Venture Park, and Balance Health Club on Thurston Drive. Kettering Golf Club is within five miles of Mawsley. Further south, Northampton is a large, historic town with hundreds of shops, two theatres, and a museum and art gallery.

Northamptonshire is quintessential England, with beautiful countryside and waterways, rich tradition and heritage, but also sensational sports venues such as Silverstone Circuit, Santa Pod Raceway and Nene White Water Centre. Attractions close to your new home will include Pitsford Water, and Wicksteed Park – 148 acres of parkland and lakes with rides and attractions.

Now nearing completion, it has its own primary school, multi-denominational church, shops and community centre. Mawsley Village is located off the A43 and close to the A14, with the M1 about 16 miles to the south.

The village is on a Northampton to Kettering bus route, and Kettering railway station, a few miles away, offers a service to London St Pancras taking approximately 65 minutes (East Midlands Trains). St Pancras is, of course, the site of the Eurostar terminal for fast rail travel to enticing destinations such as Lille, Paris and Brussels.

Alternatively, the proximity of Mawsley to the M1 and M12/M11 means easy access to London's airports, especially Luton and Stansted. Airports at Coventry and Birmingham are equally accessible. The heart of Mawsley is The Centre, a million pound community building with bar area, children's playroom and even its own website.
